Restoration & Transformation

We believe that organizations or work units in crisis can be restored or even transformed (i.e., become better than they were before) through our facilitation and intercession, using our principles of engagement. We will employ elements of mediation in a more protracted, intensive, and holistic way, which is not aimed at merely resolving a particular dispute (in which, as in typical mediation, disputants go their separate ways) but rather in building relationship within an organization or work unit so that it can emerge healthy and more productive.

When engaged in restorative or transformational intercession, we will require that all participants follow our Rules of Mediation, which are an elaboration of our general Principles of Engagement.

With few exceptions, acting as a restorative or transformational intercessor is not considered the practice of law. We are a nationwide and (where English is agreed upon) international service provider. Therefore, in most states and many international venues, we can intercede to facilitate restoration or transformation of your organization or work unit without having to be licensed as an attorney at law in that state or country. When inquiring about our availability to serve you, we will verify our qualifications before engagement or payment.

We usually employ a team approach of two Co-Intercessors when engaged in restorative or transformational intercession with an organization or work unit. Usually, the combined fee for both co-intercessors will not exceed $5,000 USD per day (based on 6 hours of intercession time per day). 

In matters related to religious organizations and certain non-profits, Olive Branch Solutions LLC offers a discounted rate of $3,000 USD per day.

The client will also be charged for costs. We have not found restorative or transformational intercession to work very well with the participants meeting with each other remotely by Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Therefore, barring certain logistical necessities, our intercession will be conducted in person. The client will bear the cost of the expenses of both co-intercessors (including hotel, transportation, and a per diem).
